Our History
          Our family comes from the South of Thailand.  Every since I can remember I knew the name "Plakat" (Betta in Thai) the little colorful fish that liked to live on the edge of the little ponds.  When I saw the little foam nests I knew there would be a beautiful male but I didn't know that was where he was taking care of his baby bettas.
         After high school I moved to Bangkok to study in university.  After I finished my bachelor degree I started a small business selling Thai shrimp paste retail and wholesale.
         Sometimes when I was really stressed from work I would think about the fields of home and the plakat that lived in the hoofprints of the water buffalo.  I bought some to take care of  and then one day in 2000 I started raising them to make a living.  I started by preparing a place to breed them close to my home.  I can remember the first day we succeeded in breeding young. Since then I have always been excited when we have a new spawn and have never been bored.  Every morning with our first cup of coffee we walk through the fish ponds with joy looking at the beautiful colors.   It's like we have a lamp to light our way through the beauty of  our Bettas that will never end.
